THE COMPANY
Sparton Resources Inc. is a diversified mineral exploration and resource development company focusing on precious metals exploration  and energy storage using specialty metals storage systems.

Recognizing the inherent value of precious metals, particularly gold, the Company recently made a new discovery while evaluating an advanced gold project in the heart of Quebec’s major gold producing area near Val d’Or. The property has caught the interest of a nearby mid tier gold producer Eldorado Gold Corporation.

Eldorado has optioned the property, made a cash payment to Sparton and Sparton will have either a full reimbursement of exploration expenditures plus a production royalty or be eligible to participate with a 25% equity interest in further development of the property.

In addition, Sparton has recently acquired over 1500 acres of mining claims and three mining leases in the Matachewan gold mining area of Ontario west of Kirkland Lake. The leases were formerly explored briefly by Sir Harry Oakes, the discoverer of the Lakeshore mine in Kirkland Lake, before he left Canada in the mid 1930s. There is a shaft and several very encouraging drill holes with good gold values on the leases and little or no definitive work has been done since 1936.  Sparton will undertake a detailed exploration program on the leases and surrounding claims to evaluate the mineralization discovered by Oakes and hopefully duplicate his success at Lakeshore. The Oakes Leases are nearby to Alamos Gold’s 200,000 ounces per year producing Young Davidson Gold Mine.

Past and current developments in the energy storage and the increased acceptance of vanadium flow batteries as the most effective platforms for grid scale electricity storage are hoped to bring  shareholder value through Sparton’s minority ownership in VRB Energy, one of the worlds most advanced builders of VRB (Vanadium Redox Battery) storage systems.  Sparton’s subsidiary companies have also been closely involved in the exploration and development of a number of high grade vanadium opportunities particularly in China.  The value of VRB Energy to Sparton is expected to grow along with VRB’s battery manufacturing business.

The Company continues to investigate similar exploration opportunities in these key commodities in domestic and international venues.

Strategic objectives are to monetize these opportunities by developing them to a stage where they can be marketable to nearby producers seeking to increase their local resources or spun out into higher value assets through Sparton’s subsidiary companies.
